Most times you only hear when there is a complaint, but very rarely does someone take the time to tell you when someone does something exceptional. I just wanted to share some refreshing news with you about your mortgage consultant Josh and not to leave out his assistant Crystal.

I had never used a Mortgage Company before, but Crown Mortgage was recommended to us by a co-worker. I contacted Josh because my son was looking to purchase his first condo. My son needed to get an FHA loan of which I had absolutely no experience with. I must say that contacting Josh was really a pleasant experience. He was so helpful and very patient with all my questions and concerns. He and Crystal took care of everything promptly and flawlessly. Divorce is a hard thing on so many levels that people talk about, such as finances. Many people do not realize the devastating toll it can take on a person’s self-confidence and their belief in their own judgment. Having successfully survived breast cancer and the drawn out divorce afterward, I found myself questioning so many things about my life. The questions eat away at what is left of your self-confidence making it harder to re-organize your life and make the steps to move forward . . . harder to reach out for help when you are in desperate need of it.

 

So . . . thank you first to Jeff, for knowing the exact words to say to help me see there may be a light at the end of the tunnel, AND for making that one more call! Thank you for saying , “Yes, I believe in you, and I believe we can help you keep your home. “ The last 5+ years have been a rough road, and I worked hard throughout my cancer treatment and then throughout the divorce process to keep things as “normal” as possible for my children, especially for my youngest  who has Down Syndrome. The last thing I wanted was for him to have to move from the only home he has ever known and possibly impact all the services in place for him that work for us now. Thank you, Jeff!

My husband and I just wanted to write and say THANKS for making our lives financially better! All because on July 19 I was told that I must attend a Debt Free & Prosperous Living meeting tht Mike Allen, President of Crown Mortgage Company, was conducting. To be honest, I wasn't very thrilled about it because who becomes debt free? I called my husband to let him know I would be home late that evening and he asked if he could attend. I told him sure but it's probably going to be boring. As we listened to Mike, one thing he said was to cut up all but one of our credit cards and put that one on ice. I looked at my husband and rolled my eyes. I thought WHAT! I could never, ever cut up my cards and put one on ice. You've got to be kidding. As the evening went on, Mike explained what you needed to do to start paying down your debt by giving us an example to work with. I thought WOW! It could work! At the end of the meeting, Mike said one thing, "The key to your success is commitment" and for some reason the words success and commitment hit me. On our drive home my husband looked at me and said let's go for it. Cutting up the credit cards was a hard thing to do but we did it. Lo and behold the process was painless. That was for years ago. We can happily say we have paid off our mortgage and reached the end. We are financially smarter, financially balanced and we are DEBT FREE! The program really works! Once again, Mike, Abe and I thank you very much. We're so glad we attended that meeting. Take five minutes of your time. Call Crown and get started to financial freedom.

This letter is to serve as witness to the priceless job that Dan had performed for my unique case.  Prior to his rescue my fiancé and I were experiencing “first time home buyer” HELL with the horrendous IndyMac Bank. To begin, our case was supposed to be “easy.”  We were first time homebuyers, had perfect credit, decent income, and NO debts – basically flawless, however we were buying a home that was a short sale and needed some TLC.  We saw its defects – leaky pipes, one molded wall, etc.  The house was vacant for almost 2 years so it was evident that we needed to bring it to life.  Well IndyMac was relentless with their never-ending demands.  They DEMANDED just a few things be repaired and replaced [prior to closing] and they would clear the conditions for the loan.  It was suppose to be simple.  Soon after we met their demands they tacked on a whole new set of conditions not even mentioned in any previous discussion.  These new issues were practically cosmetic and were just impractical for us to comply with when the house was not ours.  After over a month of their nonsense it was brought to our attention that they were toying with our case and kept stringing us along with no intention of giving us a loan.  Traumatic as the news was, we found out the bad news that we were not going to get the loan “because of the house” just 1 week prior to our departure for our destination wedding.  A complete emotional wreck – I received one phone call from an angel, Dan.  After hearing nothing but negativity he uttered the most memorable positive news I have ever heard thus far, “I heard about your case and I know we can help.”

Dan truly was the only light we saw during our darkness.  He brought us back to life – not for us to flat line – but instead for us to regain consciousness and begin our new union as Mr. & Mrs. During our initial conversation he was truly a breath of fresh air.  After I explained my horrific situation and told him to throw in the towel there was no hope, he introduced Crown Mortgage Company to me.  He told me about the company’s unique abilities, one-on-one assistance, his role in the organization, and his determination to help us get our dream home. From day one Dan ALWAYS had an optimistic outlook and although our case was “unique” he reassured me that there’s always a way.  More important than his support was Dan’s knowledge about the real estate/loan industry.  He educated me on what was wrong with the company IndyMac (side note he always brought me good news when IndyMac tanked which truly comforted me), and he explained how Crown Mortgage processed things differently from other lenders.  He ALWAYS made sure that we were up to date on our loan with frequent calls and emails.  Not once was I unable to get in touch with him or never received a quick response to an email I sent.  He was extremely thorough with his communication and expertise, and I know being a service industry that communication and networking is the key to success – well he displays a great ability for these fantastic traits.

In my opinion, Dan is the best representation for the firm Crown Mortgage Company.  He truly changed my impression of the mortgage industry and turned my anger towards the market to thankfulness.  After countless battles, because of him we were able to purchase our dream home.  On our own we lost those many battles but Dan  helped us win the war!!

Finally, he was our confidant when he was working on getting us the loan and he still is a part our life TODAY.  He emails me every now and then just to check in on our house, see how we are doing, etc.  There is no other loan officer that I know of that would continue that bond with their clients after the business transaction was complete.  Because of his excellence he has made this the most memorable and positive experience for us.  Dan is the man!!!!
