Loan Officer Job Description

MISSION
To increase the company’s mortgage loan portfolio by developing strategic business partners, attracting mortgage customers and submitting complete loan files while upholding company standards and ethics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS OF POSITION
1.    Pass screening process and assessment
2.    Complete XINNIX training
3.    Satisfy all NMLS requirements (training, testing and background check)
4.    Prospect daily to your database (both face-to-face and via phone)
5.    Develop strategic business partners to create a strong referral network
6.    Build relationships with customers and provide them with products and services to meet their changing needs
7.    Exceed customer service expectations
8.    Take thorough loan applications
9.    Coordinate all aspects of the mortgage application process
10.    Communicate effectively with peers, colleagues and management
11.    Meet minimum production standards of 7 closings per month after completion of training.

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS (CSF’s) – Performance Measurements

Measurement #1:          Complete XINNIX ORIGINATOR Program and NMLS Licensing
Target:                             Within 90 days of hire

Measurement #2:          Average 1 closed transaction per month
Target                              By the end of your first month

Measurement #3:          Average four closed transactions per month
Target:                             By the end of your 6th month

Measurement #4:          Average seven closed transactions per month
Targets:                           By the end of your 12th month

     Database  management  preferred  but  not required
•    Knowledge of the mortgage/ real estate market a plus

III.    EXPERIENCE
•    Minimum of three years previous sales experience

•    Bachelor’s degree
